Ugandan children, both boys and girls, can suffer from sex trafficking, forced marriages, and online exploitation. In addition, street prostitution is an out-of-hand form of sexual abuse across the country.
Imagine feeling so hungry and helpless that your only way to eat is to exchange your body for a meal. Without rescue, what will happen to these children?
Unfortunately, they won’t be protected if we don’t do anything. They will remain vulnerable, suffering and in danger of brutal exploitation.
Your funds will be used for vital aspects of rescue operations such as:
Investigation missions to locate and verify underaged victims and their perpetrators
Undercover visits where our rescue agents build trust with trafficked victims to offer them a way out
Providing tactical gear for our rescue agents to locate victims and gather evidence against traffickers
Extraction costs for a child to move back to their home, our care, or placement by a government caseworker

On the night of the rescue, they told me they could get me out of the brothel that night. I was scared but we left and didn’t look back. I thought, ‘How nice it would be to not be raped every night. How good it would feel for people to look at me and not think ‘prostitute.’ I wanted to change my life for the better.
