19 girls rescued in Zimbabwe
19 girls no longer have to sell their bodies just to survive—they accepted freedom!
The children were all 16 or 17 years old. Many exploited children in the area are the heads of child-run households and carry the sole responsibility of feeding their younger siblings. The four girls were between 9 and 12 years old. The kids were subjected to long hours, working in harsh conditions in a brick factory until our undercover agents discovered them. Now, they are enrolled in Freedom Plans to move forward in life and begin recovering from the trauma they endured.
The youngest victim was 15 years old. All the survivors have begun their new lives by enrolling in Freedom Plans.
