21 children, 17 girls and four boys, were rescued from sex trafficking and exploitation

The children, all between 7 and 17 years old, have enrolled in Freedom Plans. Together with our incredible team of agents and caseworkers in Kenya, they’ll work through the trauma they’ve suffered and work to develop an economic solution for each family, equipping them to live free.

A tip from a Canadian man led to the rescue of eight victims of trafficking

When a Canadian man was offered a live-streamed sex show with an 11-year-old through a dating site, he took the information to the authorities. That action led to freedom for five children and three young adults in the Philippines.

Our agents aided authorities in arresting the trafficker and rescuing those he exploited online. Because one man had the courage to act, those victims are now survivors. Don’t be afraid to act on your suspicions and report to local authorities; your choice could mean everything for a suffering child.

Four children were among those freed during the raid

Our agents worked alongside law enforcement to take down a human trafficker who’d been advertising victims online for sexual exploitation. Beyond the children, four young men were rescued during the operation, a trend we’ve been seeing more of recently. The trafficker was arrested, and all of the survivors are now recovering in a government facility to help them start their new lives in freedom.

Twenty-seven survivors were rescued at the border, and agents collaborated with police to free the rest from traffickers.

As part of their continuing mission, border agents stopped traffickers from escaping the country, rescuing 27 victims in a single week. During the same time, Destiny Rescue agents collaborated with authorities to rescue the rest, resulting in the arrest of two traffickers.

While most of the survivors were reunited with their families, two girls, aged 13 and 15, were entrusted to a local shelter to begin their journeys toward freedom.

Agents found the children begging on the street during their canvassing operations. Further investigation revealed that they’d been forced into begging for money by crippling family debt or crushing poverty. Now that they’ve enrolled in our post-rescue programming, the kids will be equipped to live their own lives in freedom.

15 Children Rescued in the Dominican Republic

Agents helped police rescue 15 kids from abusers over the course of several weeks

Most of the children suffered domestic sexual abuse from someone close to them before our agents’ investigations led to police intervention. The series of operations led to 13 arrests, including one man who’d forced a 15-year-old girl into marriage. With their abusers behind bars, the kids are now all home safe.
