59 Rescued from Human Trafficking in Nepal
Over the course of two weeks, border agents stopped traffickers from luring 59 people across the border.
Traffickers groom or outright deceive their victims into believing that there is something better for them across the border, from high-paying jobs to romance. Over half of this group of survivors met their traffickers online, mostly via social media. 20 of the survivors were children, including two small kids who were travelling with their mother.
All the survivors were reunited with their families.
