We are thrilled you are launching a Rescue Sunday at your church. This toolkit contains everything you need to facilitate an engaging, inspiring, God-honouring Rescue Sunday for your congregation. Thank you for empowering them to set the captives free.

STEP 1

CHOOSE THE DATE OF YOUR RESCUE SUNDAY

STEP 2

DECIDE HOW YOU WANT YOUR CHURCH TO RESCUE

Option 1 – Rescue Partner Sign-Ups

 Encourage your congregants to sign up to be Rescue Partners. This ongoing support allows us to continue rescuing kids out of nightmare realities and help restore God’s preferred destiny in their lives.

Option 2 – Rescue a Child Offering

Aim to rescue one or more children together as a united church community. On average, it costs $1,800 to free a child from sexual slavery and begin their journey to freedom.

STEP 3

PROMOTE YOUR RESCUE SUNDAY

Let your congregation know when your Rescue Sunday is taking place so they can be prayerful as the day approaches and learn more about Destiny Rescue in advance if desired.

Pray without ceasing for the children you have helped rescue. Seek their healing and that they come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour and experience His love and salvation.

Gathering For Freedom

Gathering For Freedom is an event where you can host a gathering for your church, friends, or colleagues. The aim is to raise awareness, educate participants, and fundraise for rescuing children from slavery.
Deeper Dive

A Deeper Dive is an educational event that takes participants on a journey to understand Destiny Rescue’s mission and child sex slavery. The 2.5-hour event includes a documentary screening and a Q&A session.

We are grateful for your generosity and promise to use your donation as effectively as possible. At least 75 percent of every dollar we spend is used for awareness and programs that benefit the children we defend, ensuring your contribution makes a significant impact.

Destiny Rescue is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). We meet the ACNC’s governance standards, including the new External Conduct Standards. We are also a code-compliant member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA) upholding ethical fundraising practices and accountability to all stakeholders.
