We are thrilled you are launching a Rescue Sunday at your church. This toolkit contains everything you need to put on an engaging, inspiring, God-honoring Rescue Sunday for your congregation. Thank you for empowering them to flourish in Christ.

STEP 1
CHOOSE THE DATE OF YOUR RESCUE SUNDAY
STEP 2
DECIDE HOW YOU WANT YOUR CHURCH TO RESCUE
Option 1 – Rescue Partner Sign Ups
Encourage your congregants to sign up to be rescue partners. This support allows us to continue rescuing kids out of nightmare realities and help restore God’s preferred destiny in their lives.
Option 2 – Rescue a Child Offering
Set a goal of rescuing one or more children as a united church body. The average cost it takes to rescue a child from sexual slavery and start her path to freedom is $1,800.
STEP 3
PROMOTE YOUR RESCUE SUNDAY
Let your congregation know when your Rescue Sunday is taking place so they can be prayerful as the day approaches and learn more about Destiny Rescue in advance if desired.
STEP 4
PREPARE FOR / LAUNCH YOUR RESCUE SUNDAY
Rescue Sunday is designed in such a way that any worship gathering can be a Rescue Sunday.
Utilise the materials and reorder as desired to best serve your congregation.
Presentation Slide Deck
We have created a slide deck for you to utilise for your Rescue Sunday message, including a themed, blank slide for you to add your own content as you craft your message. Adjust the order and utilise the slides as desired!
Sermon Script
God calls us to care for the poor and vulnerable. By sharing this biblical message, we can inspire and activate our churches to be God’s hands and feet, bringing hope and freedom to those living under the weight of exploitation and slavery.
